1) Define A Word :-

If we type "define:" followed by the word you want and Google will take you straight to the definition.

2) Words In Exact Order :-

This tip type your search phrase inside quotation marks.

3) Exclude Certain Words :-

After you enter your desired search terms, add a minus sign (-) followed by the words you want excluded.

4) Search Within A Range Of Prices :-
Type prices of item with in range of two values.

5) Site-Specific Search or Search within Site :-
If you want to search a specific website for content that matches a certain phrase.Simply use the "site:somesite.com" modifier.
Example Search: "Android" site:visualstudiolearn.blogspot.com.

6) Search using asterisks * Sign :-
Enter your search terms using asterisks as stand-ins for the unknowns. Google will fill in the blanks with possibilities.

7) By File Type :-
Enter your search terms followed by "filetype:PPT."
Example : - "Android" filetype:ppt.

8) Search By Title :-
Type "intitle:" then the term you want. This will ensure the specified term is in the title of all the webpages in your results.
Example : -"intitle:" visualstudiolearn

9) Similar Words and Synonyms :-
Let’s say you want to include a word in your search, but also want to include results that contain similar words or synonyms. To do this, use the "~" in front of the word.

Example Search: "inbound marketing" ~professional

10) Calculator :-
if you need to do a quick calculation, instead of bringing up the Calculator applet, you can just type your expression into Google.

Search Example: 28012 * 9.04

11) Access Site through FTP anonymously :-
if you want access site through FTP like environment or to download file direct from website directory.
then you need to type -inurl:html intitle:"index of " English language pdf

Examples :-
i) -inurl:html intitle:"index of " English language pdf
ii) -inurl:html intitle:"index of " Funny videos mp4
iii) -inurl:html intitle:"index of " idm .rar
